What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a retail location.

+ Respond in a calm, problem-solving manner to incidents and critical situations as they arise within the retail environment.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activities and to observe for irregularities.

+ Interact professionally with store staff, visitors, and/or patrons to support a welcoming environment while maintaining awareness of security-related concerns.

+ Assist with access control measures and observe for any suspicious behavior within the location.

+ Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following established protocols and guidance from Allied Universal.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ State, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

+ Loss prevention experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ A guard card or security-related license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
