As a **Security Officer - Education Alarm Desk Specialist** in **Radnor, PA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent education location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, providing a welcoming and professional presence. Your role involves monitoring access, assisting guests and staff, and responding to security-related incidents as they arise. You will use your customer service skills and attention to detail to help to deter incidents and maintain a secure environment. What You'll Do:

+ Welcome and assist visitors, students, staff, and/or faculty at the front desk by following site-specific protocols.

+ Monitor access to the location and verify identification as required by site policies.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel when necessary.

+ Support security-related procedures and policies as directed by Allied Universal management and the site requirements.

+ Maintain accurate logs and records of visitor activity and incident reports as needed.

+ Provide customer service by answering questions and directing individuals to appropriate resources or locations within the site.

+ Assist with emergency response activities according to established protocols and training.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

+ Must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
