As a **Security Professional - Mall Patrol Driver** in **Brighton, MI** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a retail and mall location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. This primarily driving post allows you to remain visible throughout the property while responding to situations as they arise and providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall property and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and support a secure environment.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or other incidents as required by site procedures.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to residents, staff, and visitors at the location.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, guests, and site management regarding security-related matters.

+ Support access control measures, monitor entrances and exits, and identify unauthorized persons as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
