As a **Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrol** in **Phoenix, AZ** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned locations within the tech and media environment, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure setting. Routine patrols and high visibility are key, as is providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. You will play a vital role in building trust and rapport with those on site, contributing to a welcoming and professional atmosphere. What You'll Do:

+ Provide outstanding customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.

+ Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and/or critical situations, using problem-solving skills to address issues as they arise.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of the assigned location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity or suspicious behavior.

+ Monitor the premises for potential security-related concerns, reporting any unusual observations or incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.

+ Collaborate with team members and site personnel to maintain a secure environment appropriate for a tech, media, and telecom setting.

+ Follow all site-specific and company protocols while maintaining a visible presence throughout the assigned location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

+ A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
