What You'll Do:

+ Monitor and control access points at the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment.

+ Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises in accordance with site-specific policies.

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by responding to inquiries and assisting with directions or information as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter to observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity.

+ Document observations, incidents, and activities in detailed reports as required by Allied Universal policies.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, site personnel, and emergency responders as necessary.

+ Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols and assisting with evacuations or other procedures when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Certification in CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.

+ A valid security-related guard card or license is preferred, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
