    What You'll Do:

    + Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

    + Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for unusual conditions.

    + Monitor entrances and exits, verifying identification and controlling access as required by location policies.

    + Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations and activities during the shift.

    + Work closely with local law enforcement and first responders as needed.

    + Remain alert to situations that could pose potential security-related concerns at government facilities.

    + Maintain a visible presence to help to deter undesirable activity in and around the property.

    + Follow instructions provided by Allied Universal and onsite management regarding post orders and emergency protocols.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

    + An armed guard card or license is required.

    + A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

    + Baton certification is preferred.

    + CPR certification is preferred.

    + Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
