Title: Administrative Assistant 2
Onsite Requirement: 2–3 days as needed (primarily for equipment setup)
Duration: 17 Months
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
Pay rate: $25 to $29/hr
Role Overview
The Administrative Assistant 2 will provide high-level administrative support to two senior managers and their small teams. The role involves managing calendars for up to 22 director-level managers, coordinating travel and expenses, supporting logistics for team events, handling equipment, and swag distribution, and serving as an interim expense approver.
This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft tools—especially Outlook and Excel. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement with flexible onsite attendance as needed.
Responsibilities:
+ Manage complex calendars and meeting schedules.
+ Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements.
+ Process travel and expense reports using Microsoft’s internal systems.
+ Support department operations, including financial, personnel, and facility logistics.
+ Assist with event coordination, offsite management, and equipment logistics.
+ Complete special projects as assigned.
Candidate Requirements
Disqualifiers:
+ Candidates who are not local to Washington will not be considered.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
+ 2–4 years of administrative experience (preferably within Microsoft or similar corporate environments).
+ Genuine interest in administrative work and team support.
+ Strong familiarity with Microsoft tools and internal processes.
+ Professional, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to learn quickly.
Top 3 Must-Have Hard Skills
1. Outlook: 2–3 years of experience (critical skill; deal-breaker if lacking).
2. Excel: 2–3 years of experience.
3. Travel & Expense Reporting: 2–3 years of experience using Microsoft’s internal expense tool.
