    Our client, a leading R&D organization, is seeking a HVAC Technician to join their team.

     

    As a HVAC Technician, you will be part of the Engineering & Maintenance (E&M) department supporting a team of skilled engineers. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, flexibility, and a willingness to learn—qualities that align well with the collaborative and dynamic nature of the site.

     

    **Job Title:** HVAC Technician

    **Location:** Rockville, MD – 14200 Shady Grove Rd

    **Pay:** $45-$50 per hour

     

    What’s the Job?

     

    + Monitor and maintain large steam plant equipment, including 600 HP boilers and chillers

    + Perform minor preventative maintenance tasks

    + Support building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical

    + Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards

    + Collaborate with engineering team to maintain optimal facility performance

     

    What’s Needed?

     

    + Maryland Stationary Engineer License (1st grade preferred; 2nd or 3rd accepted)

    + At least 3 years of experience in steam plant maintenance

    + HVAC, minor plumbing, and electrical troubleshooting skills

    + High School Diploma or GED
