    Our client, a leading organization in the scientific and technological sector, is seeking a Network Admin - Engineer to join their team. As a Network Admin - Engineer, you will be part of the IT Department supporting the Network Operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Network Admin - Engineer

    **Location:** Oak Ridge, Tennessee

    **Pay Range:** $60

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Support the setup, testing, documentation, and implementation of network changes within a production environment.

    + Coordinate with project teams during the start-to-finish phases of new network site setups.

    + Troubleshoot network issues and provide technical solutions to ensure high-performance connectivity.

    + Manage and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.

    + Lead infrastructure modernization projects such as core network redesign, cloud integration, and security improvements.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.

    + At least 7 years of relevant experience in network administration and engineering.

    + Certifications such as Cisco CCNP, Microsoft AZ-700, and AZ-104 are required.

    + Deep technical knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DMVPN, DNS, DHCP, and Cisco routing/switching equipment.

    + Experience with Azure networking, firewall management, and hybrid network design.
