Job Title:** **Warehouse Material Handler
**Location:** Humboldt, PA
Shift & Pay:
+ **1st Shift:** $18.50/hr
Job Description
The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for following verbal or written instructions, such as bills of materials, shipping documents, or production schedules. This role involves safely moving and stacking materials throughout the warehouse, staging areas, and trailers. Tasks often include extended periods of manual loading and unloading where forklift use is not practical. Additional responsibilities may include using bar code readers, computer terminals, or other electronic devices to track product movement.
Key Responsibilities
+ Move and stack materials safely in designated areas.
+ Load and unload materials or finished goods manually when required.
+ Utilize electronic devices for product tracking and inventory control.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
+ Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
Required Skills & Physical Requirements
+ Ability to exert **100 lbs occasionally** , **50 lbs frequently** , and **20 lbs constantly** .
+ Lift **35–50 lbs from floor to waist** , **50–80 lbs from waist to shoulders** , and push/pull up to **100 lbs** .
+ Frequently carry loads in excess of **50 lbs** .
+ Ability to reach forward, laterally, and occasionally overhead.
+ Occasional moderate-force grasping.
+ Flexibility to rotate to other work zones or departments as needed.
+ Strong organizational skills to plan efficient routes and prevent delays.
+ **Ability to speak English (required)** .
