    DBA Functions:

    + Database support (troubleshoot connectivity, performance, data loads)

    + Scheduled releases; database objects, jobs

    + Scheduled monthly database refreshes

    + Security administration for server, database, object level

    + Database maintenance (backup, groom, vacuum)

    + On call Duties

    DBA Skills:

    + DBA working on Unix operating platform supporting database planforms Netezza, Oracle, Postgres

    + DBA working on Windows operating platform supporting database platform SQL Server and plus if has above Netezza, Oracle experience

    + Familiarity with ServiceNow and Jira

    DBA Soft skills:

    + Good communication skills

    + Punctuality required to support scheduled tasks

    + Flexibility to work past standard hours on requirement

    DBA Schedule:

    + EST times 8-5 with On call roster.
