             Material Prep Technician (sanding) Pay: $18 to $22 DOE POSITION SUMMARY: As a key member of the Fabrication team, the Material Prep Technician is responsible for preparing fabricated metal parts by grinding, sanding, and finishing them to meet quality standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: + Sand, grind, and finish fabricated metal, acrylics, and other parts using hand and power tools + Ensure smooth, clean surfaces free of imperfections or sharp edges + Follow blueprints, drawings, or work instructions as required + Inspect finished work for accuracy and quality + Maintain tools and equipment in safe working order + Adhere to safety procedures and workplace cleanliness standards + Act as a shop hand or production helper as needed QUALIFICATIONS: + Previous experience in metal finishing, grinding, or sanding (preferred) + Ability to use various hand tools, grinders, and sanding equipment + Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic + Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods + Willingness to work in a fast-paced, production environment If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
