    Our client, a leader in manufacturing and engineering solutions, is seeking a Sr Engineering Technician to join their team. As a Sr Engineering Technician, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Sr Engineering Technician

    **Location:** Torrance, CA

    **Pay Range:** $38 - $40/hr

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Perform pneumatic and hydrostatic pressure tests, hydraulic tests, and valve testing to ensure product quality and safety.

    + Support New Product Introduction (NPI) testing and ongoing production testing to meet project timelines and specifications.

    + Study and record time, motion, methods, and speed to improve operational efficiency and establish standard production rates.

    + Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to testing and manufacturing processes.

    + Lead and direct the work of team members, providing guidance and mentorship as needed.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + High school diploma or equivalent with 4-6 years of relevant experience in testing and manufacturing environments.

    + Familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics, performance testing, and fabrication processes.

    + Experience with pneumatic and hydrostatic pressure testing, valve testing, and related procedures.

    + Strong understanding of concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.

    + Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals with a high degree of creativity and latitude.
