Your journey here will be filled with opportunities to elevate your expertise and contribute to solutions that matter. *Work Arrangement:* Hybrid *What You'll Do:* The Manager, Projects is responsible for delivering quality facilities projects and solutions within the Crowley Fuels Reliability and Maintenance Team. Provides regulatory compliant project guidance and recommendations to a cross-functional regional leadership team aligned with Western Alaska. Oversees and implements the asset compliance programs for Crowley's fixed fuel storage assets. *Key Responsibilities:* · Manage the planning, scope, scheduling, design, budget, resource allocation and risk analysis of current and potential projects in accordance with contractual requirements, Crowley policies and procedures, technical requirements and local, state, and federal requirements. · Collaborate and review project scope and proposals with relevant stakeholders for optimal design to ensure operational efficiency and viability. · Determine and develop the time frame and project plans for accomplishing the project to include resource allocations across various phases of the project and conduct management of change throughout the project. · Develop, track and implement controls to manage projects and organizational risk. · Communicate project status to senior management and key stakeholders. · Coordinate and supervise the activities of on-site/project personnel to ensure every project progresses on schedule and within budget parameters. · Manage the fiscal execution of the project within budgetary constraints to include issuing RFPs, requesting job/part quotes, issuing purchase orders, receipt of goods and services, and proper invoicing from vendors and subcontractors. · Contribute to the continual enhancement of project management methodology. Supervise project team(s) consisting of employees, contractors and/or subcontractors including performance management responsibilities. · Confer with other project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems. · Coordinate and schedule regulatory asset inspections for ASTs, USTs, Pipelines, Pressure Vessels, etc. *Education & Credentials:* · Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, construction management, architecture or civil or mechanical engineering; or equivalent combination of post high school education and experience equal to ten (10) years in the fuels industry. · Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. *Experience:* · 3 – 5 years of related experience in supply chain management, construction management, fuel storage terminal operations, government service and/or engineering projects with budgets exceeding $1 million. · Experience leading and running construction projects in Western Alaska. *Technical Skills:* · Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 products, including Teams, Project, Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint. · Other project and facility management software such as Smartsheet, Hexagon EAM, Primavera is preferred. *Competencies:* · Communicate effectively verbally and in writing. · Effectively manage multiple projects in various stages of completion that may vary in nature and scope. · Assess project risks and exposures; identify options and alternatives, make decisions and implement corrective actions, and communicate those decisions to senior management / customers. · Promote and build a team atmosphere, motivate team members in addition to function effectively as part of a team. · Lead and influence within a cross-functional organization to deliver projects. · Organize, manage and lead at the project and program level, and influence at the portfolio level. · Plan, execute and control a project establishing realistic estimates and reporting metrics. · Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal/external stakeholders. · Evaluate process effectiveness and develop change or alternatives. · Prepare, monitor and administer budgets, as well as the perform financial analysis. · Mentor, coach, train and/or supervise project members. · Knowledge of project management, planning and cost control management. · Knowledge of purchasing, procurement, budgeting and administrative management. · Knowledge of and ability to apply the concepts, principles and practices of project designing, scheduling, estimating, planning, and inspecting. · Knowledge of the concepts, principles and practices of engineering in regards to projects assigned. · Knowledge of contract negotiation and administration as well as the ability to execute contracts in compliance with corporate guidelines and government regulations. *What We Offer* /We inspire top talent by offering a comprehensive and competitive package that supports the diverse needs of our people—on land, at sea, in offices, and remotely./ *Our Total Rewards include:* Competitive pay with recognition programs · Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability coverage, and paid vacation and holidays · Leave and family support: parental leave and sick leave · Learning and growth: access to training and development for continuous skill development · Well-being resources: Employee Assistance Program, wellness program, and gym membership discounts /**/ /*At Crowley, we invest in you – your success, your health, and your future.*/** *Working Conditions* Works both inside an office environment and also outside in conditions of both high and low temperatures.
