    We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Site Safety Coordinator to oversee safety operations across multiple construction sites in the St. Louis area. This role is critical in fostering a “safety-first” culture and ensuring all personnel adhere to OSHA standards and company safety protocols.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.

    + Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety policies.

    + Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions.

    + Investigate incidents and near-misses, and implement corrective actions.

    + Maintain accurate safety records and documentation.

    + Collaborate with site supervisors and subcontractors to promote safe work practices.

    + Serve as the primary point of contact for all safety-related matters on-site.

    Essential Skills

    + OSHA 30 Certification (Construction Industry) - Required

    + Minimum 2 years of experience in construction safety or a related field.

    + Experience with rigging and lifting, fall protection, and scissor lifts.

    + Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and construction site protocols.

    + Excellent communication and leadership skills.

    + Ability to travel between multiple job sites within the St. Louis region.

    + Valid driver’s license.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + First Aid/CPR certification.

    + Experience with safety management software or digital reporting tools.

    + Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

    Work Environment

    The role involves an on-site and in-office mix, requiring travel between multiple job sites within the St. Louis region.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Edwardsville, Illinois.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
