    **Job Title:** Plastic Injection Molding Toolmaker (Toolroom Technician)

    **Job Type:** Full-Time, On-Site, 1st Shift (Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm)

    **Pay Range:** $30 – $40 per hour

    Job Summary

    Adecco Permanent Recruitment is partnering with a well-established manufacturer in the plastic fastening and materials industry to help them hire a **Plastic Injection Molding Toolmaker** (Toolroom Technician). This hands-on position supports a three-shift injection molding and extrusion operation, ensuring molds, dies, and related tooling are properly maintained and production-ready. The role is ideal for a skilled machinist or toolmaker with strong mechanical aptitude and a background in injection molding maintenance.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on molds, dies, and production tooling.

    + Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble complex injection molds.

    + Operate milling machines, lathes, grinders, EDMs, and other shop equipment for repairs and modifications.

    + Convert and set up molds for production changeovers.

    + Document tooling maintenance and repairs in accordance with quality standards.

    + Troubleshoot tooling issues and collaborate with engineering to identify improvements.

    + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe toolroom environment in line with 5S practices.

    + Assist with knife sharpening, fixture repairs, and other support tasks for manufacturing equipment.

    Qualifications and Must-Haves

    + Minimum of 3 years of experience in a machine shop environment (milling, EDM, lathes, grinding).

    + Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with Class 101 mold maintenance.

    + Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed work instructions.

    + Skilled with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.

    + Experience with hot runner manifolds, electrical testing, and rewiring heaters or thermocouples preferred.

    + CNC EDM setup and operation experience a plus.

    + High school diploma or equivalent required.

    + Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, and standing for long periods.

    **Pay Details:** $30.00 to $40.00 per hour
