Job Title: Mechanical EngineerJob Description
Join our dynamic team as a Mechanical Engineer, where you will engage in designing parts, drawings, and large assemblies using SolidWorks. You will perform engineering analyses and simulations, and provide vital support to the production floor for design changes or process improvements. This role requires collaboration with the testing department and development of test fixtures, with a focus on using ERP systems for all product-related data management.
Responsibilities
+ Design parts, drawings, and large assemblies using SolidWorks.
+ Perform engineering analyses and simulations.
+ Provide support to the production floor for design changes and process improvements.
+ Collaborate with the testing department to develop and build test fixtures.
+ Utilize ERP systems for product-related data management.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD software.
+ Experience in mechanical engineering, mechanical design, and working with metals.
+ Knowledge of fabricated and welded machine parts, GD&T, and electromechanical design.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related degree.
+ Experience with machine building, welding, or fabrication methods.
+ Targeting 3+ years of experience; Co-ops and internships may be considered as experience.
Work Environment
The majority of work is performed in an office setting, with significant collaboration with the production floor for design modifications and during testing phases. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $38.50/hr.
