Job Title: Electronic TechnicianJob Description

Responsibilities

+ Assemble, install, test, and maintain electronic systems, components, and equipment.

+ Diagnose and repair circuit boards, wiring, and other electronic components.

+ Perform operational tests under various conditions, including ESS, vibe, thermal, and altitude.

+ Ensure conformance with design specifications and diagnose malfunctions down to the component level.

+ Conduct defined engineering tests and collect assigned data.

+ Document test results, repairs, and maintenance activities accurately.

+ Perform diagnostics and root cause analysis using oscilloscopes, multimeters, RF generators, and spectrum analyzers.

+ Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and security standards.

Essential Skills

+ High School Graduate with 4 years of related experience or equivalent electronics training from a technical trade school or military technical school.

+ Experience troubleshooting analog and digital circuits.

+ U.S. Citizenship.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Familiarity with RF systems, digital/analog circuits, or embedded electronics.

+ Experience with component-level troubleshooting.

+ Experience using VOM, DVM, and similar test apparatus.

Work Environment

This position operates on a first shift with no travel required. The work involves handling various electronic testing equipment and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
