             Program Manager- Electrification Job Description Join a dynamic team dedicated to advancing Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) technology. As an Electrification Engineer, you will work closely with the BEV team to develop powertrain, high voltage (HV) battery, and control solutions. Your role will encompass requirement management, control system calibration, integration, and validation of BEV powertrains in delivery vehicles. Responsibilities + Manage complex engineering projects related to design, integration, validation, and troubleshooting of BEV powertrain. + Provide expertise in vehicle control and powertrain systems development. + Develop and validate powertrain and HV system requirements for BEV systems, including e-propulsion, HV battery system, HV harnesses and distribution, HV auxiliary systems, and BEV thermal management system. + Lead controls system integration efforts for electric powertrain components such as the Drive Unit, HV battery, and Vehicle Control Module. + Develop and own BEV controls system features and collaborate with hardware, software, architecture, safety, and other cross-functional teams. + Create detailed controls interface, communication topology, and E/E interface for electric powertrain components. + Support the development of controls system test plans and verification of system-level functions. + Lead cross-functional development efforts and manage issue escalation and resolution. + Participate in architectural, controls software, system integration, and V&V technical discussions, developing technical solutions representing the BEV function area. Essential Skills + Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline. + 5+ years' experience in automotive control systems or related discipline. + 3+ years' experience in electric vehicle or electrical propulsion. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Embedded Systems. + Technical expertise in battery electric vehicle, electrified powertrain, and lithium-ion battery. + Proficiency in fundamentals of embedded systems design, CAN network, and real-time control systems. + Proficiency in control and calibration tools for automotive control systems. + Ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic environment. + Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time. It involves working in a dynamic environment with high visibility among leadership and the end user community. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
