    Job Title: Quality Manager

    Position Summary:

    The Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing quality and laboratory operations across multiple labs. This role ensures the integrity of the Quality Management System (QMS), drives continuous improvement initiatives, and supports cross-functional teams to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

     

    

    Key Responsibilities:

    Lead quality assurance and lab operations across multiple labs.

     

    Perform final assessments of product quality and ensure compliance with standards.

     

    Develop and implement effective quality systems and SOPs.

     

    Manage internal corrective action systems (ICAR, QIR) and complaint systems (CCAR, SCAR).

     

    Provide technical support to manufacturing, sales, and external customers.

     

    Conduct training programs for employees at various skill levels.

     

    Support customer audits and internal process improvement initiatives.

     

    Collaborate with other sites Quality Managers to share best practices.

     

    Monitor and control lab expenses to stay within budget.

     

    Promote and uphold Teknor Apex’s Core Values.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor of Science degree required (Chemistry or related field preferred).

     

    5–7 years of experience in a laboratory or technical environment.

     

    Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

     

    Strong leadership and communication skills.

     

    Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and solve complex problems.

     

    Experience with ISO standards and statistical quality control methods.

     

    Quality Certification such as ASQ CQM, CQE, or Sixth Sigma Certification preferred

    Physical Requirements:

    Ability to stand for extended periods, squat, bend, twist, and lift as needed.

     

    Must meet ADA, FMLA, and other federal/state/local standards for job performance and attendance.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $52.00 - $65.00/hr.
