Position Summary:

The Entry-Level Manufacturing Engineer will support the design, development, and optimization of assembly processes to ensure efficient production, quality standards, and safety compliance. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong technical foundation and a desire to learn and grow within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Assist in developing and improving assembly processes to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

+ Support troubleshooting of equipment and process issues on the production floor.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Maintenance, Production) to implement process improvements.

+ Maintain accurate documentation for process changes, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.

+ Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action for quality or efficiency concerns.

+ Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

+ Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.

+ 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

+ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

+ Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and assembly operations.

+ Familiarity with CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite.

+ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

+ Internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.

+ Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma tools.

+ Exposure to ERP systems and production planning.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $40.00/hr.
