             Job Title: Clinical Research Coordinator (Oncology)Job Description The Clinical Research Coordinator plays a crucial role at the Research Institute by overseeing both industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated clinical trials. This position ensures compliance with trial protocols, FDA regulations, and ICH/GCP guidelines. The role involves functioning as a clinical study coordinator when necessary and mentoring research staff across multiple U.S. Division locations. Responsibilities + Supervise the day-to-day activities of the clinical research team, including productivity oversight and staff scheduling. + Ensure the delivery of safe care, respecting the dignity of all patients and participants. + Act as a service line expert and resource for the research team to address operational barriers. + Monitor and evaluate the quality and safety of clinical operations within the assigned area. + Build and maintain supportive relationships with team members through regular interactions. + Collaborate with operations managers and external partners to facilitate study start-up and transitions. + Develop and maintain SOPs and ensure teams follow these processes. + Manage safe care delivery with respect for all patients/participants. + Provide guidance, education, specialized training, and mentorship to promote team growth. + Coordinate effective and compliant clinical research studies as needed. + Support the preceptorship of new team members and monitor their progress. Essential Skills + Clinical research expertise + Oncology knowledge + Project management skills + Experience in clinical studies and trials Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Research, or related field with 2 years of experience in clinical research or + Associate's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Research, or related field with 4 years of experience in clinical research + Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Work Environment The position is based in a hospital environment, providing numerous benefits such as benefits from day one, paid days off, and a student loan repayment program.
