    Job Title: CNC Operator

    Job Description

    Join our team to set up and operate CNC equipment for the production of high-quality parts. Collaborate with team members to ensure proper tooling, calibration, and tolerance for large-run parts, and play a vital role in diagnosing and troubleshooting production issues.

    Responsibilities

    + Set up and run CNC equipment for production parts.

    + Assist in the setup process for tooling, calibration, and tolerance of large-run parts.

    + Work collaboratively with the team to diagnose and troubleshoot operational issues.

    + Ensure quality control through precision measuring equipment and adherence to GD&T standards.

    + Implement safety protocols including Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.

    + Engage in continuous improvement practices such as LEAN and Statistical Process Control.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in operating CNC equipment.

    + Mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints.

    + Proficiency with precision measuring tools including GD&T and CMM.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous education at a machining school is a plus.

    + Experience with advanced manufacturing processes is advantageous.

    + Knowledge of quality measurement tools and safety protocols, including Lock Out/Tag Out.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, Oregon.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
