    Job Title: General Production Worker

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented General Production Worker to join our team in the production of filtration media and products. This role involves adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ensuring the quality and consistency of our products.

    Responsibilities

    + Produce filtration media/products while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

    + Ensure the availability of raw materials needed for each batch.

    + Mix raw materials as required for each batch.

    + Assist with equipment setup for each batch.

    + Monitor the production schedule and make necessary adjustments.

    + Conduct quality control tests as needed.

    + Document production processes for each batch accurately.

    + Perform material handling duties and basic janitorial tasks in the area.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in manufacturing or production is preferred.

    + Basic math skills and the ability to learn new processes.

    + Strong attention to detail.

    + Effective communication and documentation skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to work with hand tools and production machinery.

    + Experience in mixing, packaging, packing, and assembly.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a manufacturing environment specializing in depth filtration and filtration systems. The facility houses over 55 employees, with 3-4 in the Shipping Department and 20+ in the Production area. Available shifts include 2nd shift from 2 PM to 10:30 PM and 3rd shift from 10 PM to 6:30 AM. Each shift offers a differential, with 5% for 2nd shift and 10% for 3rd shift. Training will occur on the 1st shift for the first two weeks. The dress code is flexible, allowing jeans, short or long sleeve shirts, and comfortable shoes, though sneakers are not permitted.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kingston, New York.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.43 - $19.43/hr.
