Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated general production workers to join our team in the proud craft of making paints and coatings. As part of a world-class portfolio of brands, you'll contribute to delivering high-performance products and services that our customers have come to expect. You will be placed in one of the following positions: Packaging and palletizing, general housekeeping, cleaning of equipment, forklift operation, floor scrubber operation, sampling of raw materials or finished goods, recording batch variables, and ensuring all work is performed safely and injury-free.
Responsibilities
+ Package and palletize finished products into boxes, drums, and supersacks from 15 lbs to 2000 lbs.
+ Maintain general housekeeping and cleanliness of the workspace.
+ Clean grinders, extruders, testing, and charging equipment.
+ Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
+ Operate floor scrubbers to maintain clean floors.
+ Sample raw materials and/or finished goods for quality assurance.
+ Record batch variables and log data accurately.
+ Perform all tasks safely and participate in improving department and plant safety performance.
+ Adhere to ISO procedures and environmental requirements.
+ Attend and participate in plant programs, committees, and training sessions focused on safety, such as Department Safety, Plant Safety, and Behavioral Safety.
+ Participate in the Warsaw Safety Journey and adhere to the Golden Principle by intervening if conditions or behavior are unsafe.
+ For Weigh Up Operators: Wash totes, charge product, weigh critical raw materials, and load and blend dry materials.
Essential Skills
+ Manufacturing experience
+ Machine operating experience
+ Proficiency with Microsoft computer skills

Work Environment
Openings are available for the **2nd Shift (2:30 pm - 11:00 pm) and 3rd Shift (10:40 pm - 7:00 am).** The work environment includes handling various materials and operating machinery. Safety is a top priority, and employees are expected to adhere to all safety protocols. The dress code is not specified, but appropriate attire for a production environment is expected.

This is a Contract position based out of **Warsaw, Indiana** .
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
