    Job Title: Mechanical Assembler - 2nd Shift

    Job Description

    We are seeking a diligent and skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team on the 2nd shift. In this role, you will be responsible for building large cooling units. You must be comfortable with hand and power tools and have experience with metal framing, copper tubing, drilling holes, piping, and metal tubing.

    Responsibilities

    + Build large cooling units using hand and power tools.

    + Read and follow directions from leads or diagrams.

    + Participate in hands-on training.

    + Utilize manual lifting devices for heavy lifting, including team lifts.

    + Perform basic, standardized, and repetitive assembly operations and labeling.

    + Manually assemble components per visual aids, verifying specs.

    + Inspect parts to ensure correct assembly.

    + Read and interpret visual aids, graphs, and diagrams.

    Essential Skills

    + Basic mechanical aptitude.

    + Ability to read and write.

    + Experience in mechanical assembly.

    + Proficiency in using hand tools.

    + Ability to follow directions.

    + Experience in a manufacturing environment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Electrical knowledge is a plus.

    + 1+ year background in detailed mechanical assembly.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

    + Experience with troubleshooting, tubing, repair, and schematic reading.

    Work Environment

     

    You will work in an extremely clean and temp-controlled manufacturing site with the potential to grow into a 3 million sqft campus. Steel toe shoes are required. The shift hours are from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, Tennessee.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.32 - $23.32/hr.
