    Job Title: HVAC Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a full-time HVAC Mechanic to provide facilities operations and maintenance services at a courthouse in Richmond. This role requires expertise in working with large commercial heating and air conditioning equipment.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on boilers, chillers, hot water heating systems, and domestic water plumbing systems.

    + Maintain and repair air handlers, VAV components, and other HVAC equipment and building systems.

    + Operate and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

    Essential Skills

    + 3-5 years of commercial or industrial HVAC experience.

    + Competency in maintaining and repairing large commercial HVAC systems.

    + General maintenance knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + EPA Universal and/or CFC certification required.

    + High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

    Work Environment

    The position is onsite at the Harrisonburg Federal Courthouse with working hours from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Some on-call scheduling may be required.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Richmond, Virginia.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $66560.00/yr.

     

    Health and Welfare Pay: $1,211 per month (per CBA) and it also offers Vacation, Sick Leave, Paid Holidays and Pension Plan per the collective bargaining agreement.

     

    Workplace Type

     

    This is a fully onsite position in Richmond,VA.
