Maintenance Electro-Mechanic (Manufacturing Environment)

+ 1st shift 6 am - 2:30 pm **(position will require rotating shift between 1st and 2nd after 8 months)**

+ Huntington Park, CA

+ $32-38/hr (depending on experience)

+ Long term with full benefits

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot/investigate and repair all mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and utility systems including chillers, air compressors etc. Keep problems from recurring

utilizing the Breakdown Analysis process.

• Obtain drawings, instructional manuals and special procedures, as needed, from files or other sources. Makes any additional sketches, diagrams, etc., as necessary.

• Examines jobs to be done and determine scope and best way to accomplish the work. Consults with requester, maintenance planner, and/or Supervisor when necessary.

• Recommends equipment to be included in preventive maintenance programs. Perform Preventative Maintenance task to identify all potential mechanical and

electrical issues with equipment throughout the plant. Rebuild worn-out, but reusable, pieces of equipment, such as gearboxes for scheduled PM’s.

• Handle special assignments or other duties as assigned by authorized personnel.

• Continuously maintains proficiency in Automation and controls systems.

• Communicates effectively with management, engineers, mechanics, and equipment operators. Demonstrates equipment functions and features to machine operators.

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr.
