    Job Title: 1st Shift Packaging

    Job Description

    Join our team working on a food packaging production line. This role involves weighing and packaging food into dishes, ensuring each serving is filled with the correct food of the day, including meats, pastas, rice, and various vegetables. This position requires standing for the entire shift and performing repetitive duties.

    Responsibilities

    + Weigh and package food servings accurately.

    + Fill dishes with the correct food items as per daily requirements.

    + Maintain consistency in packaging processes throughout the shift.

    + Perform visual inspection of packaged products.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in packaging and general labor.

    + Ability to perform visual inspections.

    + Comfortable standing for the entire shift.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Able to work overtime as needed.

    + Comfortable working in a temperature-controlled environment (53-34 degrees).

    + Physical ability to lift up to 55 lbs, including shoveling vegetables or noodles.

    Work Environment

     

    This position is set in a food production environment with temperatures maintained at 52-53 degrees on the production floor and 34 degrees in the weigh pack/cold room. Proper attire such as hair nets and smocks/lab coats are required, along with beard covers if applicable. Jewelry, visible piercings, and fake nails are not permitted on the production floor. The role involves standing throughout the shift.
