Job Title: Civil Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Project Manager to lead our construction projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have experince in civil engineering and project management, with a proven track record in estimating and overseeing large-scale civil construction projects.

Responsibilities

+ Develop accurate cost estimates by reviewing project plans, specifications, and requirements.

+ Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals.

+ Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor bids, assessing potential risks and cost-saving opportunities.

+ Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.

+ Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams.

+ Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to budget and timeline constraints.

+ Resolve any issues that may arise during construction and adjust plans as necessary.

+ Conduct project meetings and provide regular progress reports.

Essential Skills

+ 5+ years of experience in earthwork and civil construction estimating and project management.

+ Strong understanding of excavation, grading, site utilities, and road construction.

+ Proficiency in construction estimating software such as HCSS HeavyBid, Agtek, Bluebeam, or similar.

+ Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and specifications.

+ Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

+ Strong analytical and negotiation abilities.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

+ Valid Driver License.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Professional engineer certification is a plus.

This is an in-office position with occasional travel to project sites. The role requires collaboration with various teams and stakeholders to ensure project success.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
