             Job Title: Assembly Specialist - Aircraft Manufacturing Job Description As an Assembly Specialist, you will work closely with the Product Manager and General Manager at an aircraft manufacturing facility. Your role will involve ensuring the repair, installation, and completion of major aircraft structures. You will interface with engineering, management, quality, suppliers, and customers to meet product requirements and customer satisfaction. You will address issues, adjust timelines, consult with engineers for solutions, and communicate with technicians and customers. Responsibilities + Ensure the repair, installation, and completion of major aircraft structures. + Interface with engineering, management, quality, suppliers, and customers. + Address issues and adjust timelines as necessary. + Consult with engineers for solutions and communicate these to technicians and customers. + Monitor progress against project schedules and budgets. + Recommend allocation of resources to accomplish goals. + Work closely with inspectors performing heavy composite and sheet metal repair/rework on Boeing 737 aircraft, particularly on fuselage sections, doors, and other major structural assemblies. Essential Skills + Experience in aircraft manufacturing, including managing processes and working with various departments. + Experience managing mechanics and/or inspectors in a production setting. + Knowledge of CATIA and assembly processes in the aviation industry. + Ability to supervise and manage projects effectively. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Must be eligible for facility badge + Preferred experience with the 737 program + Comfortable with extensive hours - up to 60+ hours per week. Why Work Here? Work Environment The position is based in the Renton factory, requiring work as much as 7 days a week, from 5 am to 5 pm. The role involves roughly 50% office work and 50% on the manufacturing floor. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Renton, Washington Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
