Job Title: Woodworker

Job Description

A custom woodworking company near Forest Lake is seeking a skilled journeyman-level carpenter/woodworker. This role involves completing high-end woodworking tasks for construction companies, focusing on building custom appliances and furniture for commercial projects. The position strictly involves building, not designing.

Responsibilities

+ Build curved walls, tables, cabinets, and desks.

+ Construct custom tables, hardware, and countertops.

+ Create reception desks and set up coffee/mail rooms.

+ Utilize hand and power tools to complete tasks efficiently.

Essential Skills

+ 5+ years of experience in woodworking or carpentry.

+ Ability to comprehend and work from blueprints.

+ Proficient in using hand and power tools.

+ Experience in custom woodworking and furniture building.

+ Knowledge of wood structure, wood framing, and wood finishing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in blueprint reading.

+ Proficiency in using a tape measure.

Work Environment

Work indoors in a woodworking shop with various stations tailored to different job progress stages. The standard work schedule is from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Thursday, and 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Fridays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wyoming, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $29.00/hr.
