    Job Title: Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal functioning of our shop equipment and facilities. This role involves performing preventative maintenance, coordinating with the Chief of Maintenance, and overseeing repairs by outside vendors.

    Responsibilities

    + Ensure all shop equipment is online and running properly.

    + Coordinate with Chief of Maintenance on planned maintenance of shop equipment, vehicles, building, and grounds maintenance.

    + Perform general maintenance of vehicles, shop machinery, fabrication equipment, and miscellaneous tools.

    + Oversee maintenance and repairs performed by outside vendors under the direction of the Chief of Maintenance.

    + Maintain an organized, clean, and safe workspace.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of experience in industrial or commercial maintenance.

    + Experience repairing industrial machinery, preferably in a metal fabrication setting.

    + Knowledge of preventive maintenance, facility maintenance, and maintenance repair.

    + Understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.

    + Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and skid steerers.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Troubleshooting machinery issues including welding equipment, CNC machinery, and crane systems.

    + General grounds maintenance and willingness to perform outside building maintenance as needed.

    + Experience as an auto-mechanic is a nice to have.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in an open shop environment that is hot in the summer and cold in the winter, with lots of loud machinery. The shift is from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday, and some Saturdays from 6am to 12pm on average.

    This is a full-time position based out of Rowley, Massachusetts.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
