Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment. This role involves executing preventative, predictive, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) on all equipment used in our operations. The position offers two shifts: 11:30 am-8:30 pm or 2 pm-10:30 pm from Monday to Friday, and 7 pm-5:30 am from Monday to Thursday.
Responsibilities
+ Execute preventative, predictive, and TPM on all operational equipment through assigned work orders in the CMMS and TPM card system.
+ Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to identify and correct breakdowns.
+ Test electrical systems and circuits using devices such as ohmmeters and voltmeters.
+ Collaborate with and train coworkers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
+ Plan the layout and installation of utilities, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications.
+ Utilize a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment and testing devices.
+ Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical systems.
+ Maintain records, prepare reports, and order parts and supplies as necessary.
+ Identify and solve problems in complex electrical systems, read electrical blueprints, and ensure their functionality before implementation.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in preventive maintenance, pneumatics, and 3-phase wiring.
+ Proficiency in working with sprockets.
+ Experience with automation and artificial intelligence.
+ Knowledge of VFDs and servo controls.
+ Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
+ Proficient in using devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, computers, infrared cameras, hand tools, tractors, scissor lifts, forklifts, lathes, welders, end mills, and hydraulic presses.
+ Strong mechanical, analytical, and solution-driven skills.
+ Excellent understanding of safety rules in an industrial setting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Familiarity with industrial and electrical codes.
+ Occasional availability to work late or on weekends.
+ Experience with Microsoft Office 2013.
+ Excellent communication skills.
+ Ability to use deductive reasoning, logic, and problem-solving skills.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
