    Job Title: Production Operator

    Job Description

    Join our dynamic production team as a Production Operator where you will play a vital role in the manufacturing process. You will be responsible for setting up and operating semi-automated assembly line machinery, ensuring all products meet specified standards, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Set up and operate semi-automated assembly line machinery to fabricate, manufacture, assemble, or move products.

    + Read and follow work instructions for machinery and product specifications.

    + Ensure all completed products are produced and packed according to product specifications.

    + Develop a pattern of movements to assemble parts.

    + Make necessary machine adjustments to maintain consistent machine operation.

    + Diagnose, troubleshoot, and address any problems that may occur during the production process.

    + Maintain a clean work area to ensure a safe work environment.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in crimping, drilling, and machine operating.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and instructions.

    + Experience with soldering, wiring, and using power tools.

    + Proficiency in electrical assembly and blueprint reading.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + Experience with mechanical equipment such as tapping, drilling, and assembly is preferred.

    + Ability to stand and lift up to 50 lbs.

    + Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

    + Completion of Purdue Pegboard Dexterity on-site.

    + Safety shoes required.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a clean, climate-controlled, and well-lit environment in the Harting Cable Solutions department. Our facility is organized with separate assembly areas, and you will be provided with your own station or rotate stations as needed. We prioritize a safe and efficient workspace with company-provided PPE and locker room facilities.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
