    Job Title: Electromechanical Technician

    Job Description

    As an Electromechanical Technician, you will work under the guidance of the Distribution Manager and Warehouse Lead to complete installation, troubleshooting, configuration, and repair tasks for various products at the Operations Center. Your role will involve assisting with the assembly of orders, reporting damages or functional failures to the Technical Support Team, and if possible, repairing reported concerns according to established standards before shipping. Additionally, you will support all facets of distribution, including receiving, loading of shipments, parts shipments, and handling administrative tasks associated with your responsibilities.

    Responsibilities

    + Complete repair work for service related to electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems as per established service standards and training.

    + Document repairs as completed per work orders, including evaluation, service, or PM forms, and accurately describe any bed function failure and how it was remedied.

    + Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on beds, stretchers, OBTs, and other accessory items with reported failures as per service contracts and work orders.

    + Conduct authorized hardware and software updates or modifications following the defined procedures.

    + Understand the functionality and benefits of each product, ensuring optimal application for customer needs and highlighting benefits for both patients and caregivers.

    + Participate in ongoing education to stay current on all products and technologies.

    + Assist in the development and training of service procedures for new products.

    + Adhere to safety procedures while conducting maintenance, repairs, installations, and other work on products.

    + Wear personal protective equipment, such as safety shoes, eye protection, gloves, and protective clothing, at all times.

    + Receive, inspect, and stock warehouse inventory.

    + Prepare inventory for shipment, including assembly, staging, and packaging.

    + Conduct periodic inventories and maintain a clean and organized warehouse.

    + Ensure adherence to all administrative processes in a timely manner.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in hydraulics, troubleshooting, and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

    + Experience in general labor, quality assurance, electrical work, and mechanical assembly.

    + Ability to read and understand blueprints for mechanical assembly and installation.

    Work Environment

     

    This role is set in a non-climate-controlled environment. The job requires regular talking and hearing, frequent sitting and standing, and occasional walking, using hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reaching with hands and arms. The ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds is occasionally required. Specific vision abilities needed include close, distance, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00/yr.

     

    • Direct Placement Opportunity

    • PTO/Vacation up to 10 days in first year and adding 3.08 hours per pay period
