    Job Title: Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

    Job Description

    Responsible for all electrical repair and maintenance of process and building equipment, including pumps, temperature controllers, and mechanical equipment. Assist in the completion, implementation, and management of the Preventative Maintenance Program. Perform preventative maintenance on all machines and building equipment following the Preventative Maintenance Program. Test and repair issues on high and low voltage electrical and electronic circuits and systems. Interpret and apply technical information from manufacturer’s manuals, electrical drawings, blueprints, and operating and maintenance procedures. Compliance with all company health, safety, and environmental procedures and policies is mandatory.

     

    2nd shift - 2:30pm to 11pm

    Responsibilities

    + Perform electrical repair and maintenance on process and building equipment.

    + Assist in the management and implementation of the Preventative Maintenance Program.

    + Conduct preventative maintenance on all machines and building equipment.

    + Test and repair electrical and electronic circuit issues.

    + Interpret and implement technical information from manuals, drawings, and blueprints.

    + Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental procedures and policies.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, and blueprint reading.

    + Ability to troubleshoot PLCs and industrial equipment.

    + Experience in welding, mechanical HVAC, plumbing, and fabrication.

    + Knowledge of three-phase motors, relays, PLC troubleshooting, and repair.

    + Strong electrical and troubleshooting skills.

    + Experience with power tools and equipment.

    + Knowledge and experience with motor control.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Extensive knowledge of primary and secondary power systems, motors, switch gears, electrical panels, and lighting systems.

    + General equipment maintenance expertise.

    + Flexibility with work hours, including off-shift and weekends as needed.

     

    Work Environment

     

    Work across six different buildings, requiring the possession of personal tools with a designated area for tool storage.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newport Beach, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
