    Job Title: Mechanical Assembler 1st Shift

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Assembler to join our team and contribute to the construction of large cooling units. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using hand and power tools, have the ability to read and follow diagrams, and possess a basic mechanical aptitude.

    Responsibilities

    + Build and assemble large cooling units using hand and power tools.

    + Engage in metal framing, copper tubing, and drilling holes.

    + Handle piping and metal tubing.

    + Read and follow directions from leads or diagrams.

    + Utilize manual lifting devices for heavy lifting, including team lifts.

    + Perform basic, standardized, and repetitive assembly operations and labeling.

    + Manually assemble inserted components according to visual aids.

    + Inspect parts to ensure assembly accuracy.

    Essential Skills

    + Previous assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.

    + Ability to read and understand visual aids, graphs, and diagrams.

    + Basic mechanical aptitude.

    + Experience with hand tools, blueprints, and mechanical assembly.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Electrical knowledge is a plus.

    + 1+ year background in detailed mechanical assembly.

    + Ability to troubleshoot and repair.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in an extremely clean, temperature-controlled manufacturing site with the potential to expand into a 3 million sqft campus. The shift runs from 6:30 AM to 3 PM with ample overtime opportunities. Steel toe shoes are required as part of the dress code.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, Tennessee.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
