    CGI Federal is seeking a Senior Network Monitoring Solutions Architect to support the deployment, configuration, and optimization of the Broadcom NetOps platform for a federal agency. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a proven track record of success in implementing and configuring enterprise network monitoring platforms. This role will provide technical consulting, integration support, and subject matter expertise to enhance network observability, performance monitoring, and operational efficiency.

    Your future duties and responsibilities:

    . Assist with the deployment, configuration, and optimization of the Broadcom NetOps platform, ensuring seamless integration with legacy SMARTS tools

    . Provide technical consulting and subject matter expertise to support the agency's transition to modern network observability tools, including performance monitoring, fault detection and bandwidth utilization

    . Validate network capacity, optimize throughput, and ensure monitoring coverage aligns with operational needs

    . Design and implement automated workflows for incident creation, change management, and data export

    . Deliver in-context insights through topology mapping, syslog integration, flow analysis, and performance metrics to enhance operational visibility

    . Develop and deliver accessible training materials and documentation in compliance with Section 508 standards, ensuring usability for all end users

    . Identify and mitigate risks related to deployment, integration, or performance gaps, proactively recommending solutions to ensure project success

    . Facilitate knowledge transfer and informal mentoring to end users to support long-term sustainability and internal capability building

    . Engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders to align monitoring solutions with operational goals and performance expectations

    . Produce a comprehensive final engagement report summarizing implementation outcomes, system behaviors, and recommendations for continued optimization

    Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

    . Candidates must have ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

    . Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant professional experience

    . Minimum 8 years of experience in network monitoring, infrastructure engineering, or IT operations, with a focus on enterprise-scale environments

    . Hands-on experience with Broadcom NetOps, SMARTS, or other similar network performance and fault monitoring platforms

    . Strong understanding of network protocols, capacity planning, and performance optimization

    . Demonstrated ability to design and implement automated workflows and integrate monitoring tools with ITSM platforms

    . Ability to work independently in a remote environment while building collaborative partnerships with cross-function client teams

    . Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical topics and interface with the customer on a daily basis

    Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:

    . Experience facilitating knowledge transfer, mentoring, or training technical teams

    . Prior experience supporting federal government clients or working in a government consulting environment

    . Solid understanding of Section 508 compliance and accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.0 and client specific accessibility guidance and knowledge of ANDI

    . Relevant certifications (i.e. Broadcom, Cisco, ITIL) are a plus

     

    CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $79,600.00 - $176,300.00.
