JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for providing administrative and secretarial support to senior management executives including, but not limited to greeting visitors and answering telephone; an 11-member Board of Trustees; handling cash, checks, and deposits; receiving and distributing mail and correspondence; compiling various monthly and yearly reports for executives; conducting projects and assignments; scanning/photocopying materials; maintaining files; computer/database skill; issuing correspondence. The position requires by nature of the superiors' positions, involvement with high-level contacts and exposure to sensitive information necessitating strict confidentiality, use of tact, diplomacy, discretion, and judgment.
This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Corporate Services. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Process (PIP) at Blessing Corporate Services.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training/Experience:
REQUIRED:
+ High school graduate and two year Associates Degree in Applied Science Office Technology and or including secretarial science degree, handling financial and/or legal records, excellent keyboarding skills, proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and other Microsoft software, strong written and verbal communication skills, and basic understanding of bookkeeping/recordkeeping.
PREFERRED:
+ Minimum one-two years’ experience preferred
+ Blackbaud Raisers Edge NXT expertise preferred
