Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist with expertise in construction payroll processing and LCP Tracker compliance to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll processes specific to the construction industry, including certified payroll requirements and prevailing wage laws, along with hands-on experience using LCP Tracker software.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Payroll Processing: Accurately and efficiently execute payroll for construction projects in alignment with federal, state, and local regulations, including prevailing wage and Davis-Bacon Act requirements (Source: 2026 Salary Guide Insights.docx).

+ Certified Payroll Management: Prepare and submit certified payroll reports using LCP Tracker, ensuring compliance with contract mandates.

+ Compliance and Reporting: Manage payroll records and documentation to ensure compliance with labor and employment laws, particularly as they pertain to the construction sector (Source: 2026 Salary Guide Insights.docx).

+ Prevailing Wage Coordination: Monitor and implement prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits, as applicable, to individual employees and projects.

+ Audits and Issue Resolution: Address payroll discrepancies, resolve related issues, and assist with audits associated with certified payroll.

+ Employee Communication: Provide timely responses to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits, including adjustments or clarifications.

+ Vendor Relationships: Work directly with construction project teams, HR, and vendors to maintain payroll accuracy and compliance.

Requirements

+ Experience: Minimum 3-5 years’ specialized experience in payroll within the construction industry (Source: 2026 Salary Guide Insights.docx).

+ Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with LCP Tracker is required, along with familiarity with other payroll software such as ADP or Paycom.

+ Knowledge of Labor Laws: Strong understanding of certified payroll guidelines, prevailing wage legislation, and Davis-Bacon Act provisions.

+ Attention to Detail: Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and meet tight deadlines.

+ Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with employees, contractors, and auditors.

+ Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
