Description We are looking for a skilled Paralegal to join our team on a contract basis in Houston, Texas. This part-time role requires approximately 20 hours per week and is ideal for candidates with experience in litigation support and legal documentation. The position offers an opportunity to work on various aspects of case preparation and management in a meticulous legal environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage litigation docketing to ensure all deadlines and filings are accurately tracked.

• Handle electronic filings in federal court, adhering to all procedural requirements.

• Maintain and update calendars with important case dates and deadlines.

• Assist in preparing and responding to discovery requests in compliance with legal standards.

• Organize and distribute discovery documents efficiently and accurately.

• Draft responses to motions and other legal documents with attention to detail.

• Ensure proper handling and submission of legal documents and correspondence.

• Coordinate with attorneys and legal teams to support case preparation and strategy.

• Review and verify legal documentation for accuracy and completeness.

• Provide administrative support for various legal tasks and projects as needed. Requirements • Proven experience as a paralegal, with a focus on litigation and federal court cases.

• Proficiency in electronic filing systems and e-filing procedures.

• Strong understanding of discovery processes and legal documentation.

• Ability to draft and review motions and responses with precision.

• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines and tasks.

• Familiarity with legal calendaring and docket management systems.

• Effective communication skills to collaborate with attorneys and legal teams.

• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality in all legal matters.
