    Position Type: Full-Time, Long-Term Contract

    About the Role:

    Our client, a well-established and reputable organization in Tolland, CT, is seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to join their team. This individual will play an integral role in supporting day-to-day business operations and ensuring smooth office functionality.     Key Responsibilities:

    + Provide comprehensive administrative support to the team, including managing schedules, preparing documents, and handling correspondence.

    + Answer and direct phone calls, manage emails, and serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries.

    + Maintain and organize physical and electronic filing systems to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.

    + Assist with meeting coordination, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and taking minutes during meetings.

    + Manage supplies inventory, including ordering and stocking office equipment and materials.

    + Support special projects, prepare reports, and assist with customer or client inquiries as needed.

    + Ensure the office environment is presentable and runs efficiently.

    Qualifications:

    + Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.

    + Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    + Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

    + Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

    + High school diploma or equivalent required; additional qualification as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary is a plus.

     

    Requirements • Proven experience in administrative support or office management roles.

     

    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written.

    • Proficiency in managing inbound calls and directing inquiries appropriately.

    • Familiarity with data entry and database management.

    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

    • A focused and approachable demeanor, along with interpersonal skills to interact effectively with visitors and team members.
