Description We are looking for a skilled Legal Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Evergreen, Colorado. This role involves supporting legal processes, managing documentation, and ensuring timely filings. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in civil litigation and a strong ability to handle discovery and e-filing tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage legal documents for civil litigation cases, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Conduct e-filings with courts and regulatory bodies while adhering to deadlines.

• Organize and oversee discovery materials, maintaining proper documentation and accessibility.

• Coordinate and maintain legal calendars to track important dates and deadlines.

• Assist attorneys with case preparation, including research and drafting correspondence.

• Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and opposing counsel to facilitate case progress.

• Ensure confidential handling of sensitive legal information and case files.

• Support administrative tasks, such as document organization and scheduling.

• Collaborate with legal team members to streamline workflows and improve efficiency. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a legal assistant role, preferably with civil litigation.

• Proficiency in e-filing systems and processes.

• Strong understanding of discovery procedures and document management.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Familiarity with calendar management tools and practices.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
