Description

+ Manage daily accounting functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger reconciliations.

+ Prepare and post journal entries; ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closings.

+ Support the preparation of financial reports and analyses for management and leadership review.

+ Maintain and update fixed asset records, including depreciation schedules and related entries.

+ Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other balance sheet accounts.

+ Assist with external audits, annual budgeting, and maintenance of accounting process documentation.

+ Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

+ Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

+ 5+ years of accounting experience

+ Strong knowledge of GAAP, general ledger, and month-end close

+ Experience with accounting and payroll systems
