Description

We are looking for an experienced Auditing Clerk to join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada, on a contract basis. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring compliance with gaming regulations and internal controls through precise auditing and reporting. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to the gaming industry by managing data reconciliation and investigating discrepancies. IGT system experience is necessary to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct audits across various gaming operations, including table games, slots, race and sports, cage, keno, and bingo.

• Investigate and analyze variances to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.

• Perform high-volume data entry tasks, ensuring precision and adherence to deadlines.

• Reconcile financial and operational data to maintain compliance with minimum internal control standards (MICS).

• Generate and distribute detailed reports based on audit findings.

• Ensure compliance with gaming laws and internal policies through thorough reviews.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and advanced formulas to organize and analyze data effectively.

• Collaborate with relevant departments to address audit findings and implement solutions.

• Maintain detailed documentation of audit processes and outcomes.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in auditing, preferably within the gaming industry.

• Proficiency in gaming law and familiarity with casino operations.

• Strong skills in legal writing and tax audit procedures.

• Expertise in high-volume data entry, including numeric data.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the use of complex formulas.

• Ability to investigate variances and reconcile data effectively.

• Familiarity with Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS) and their applications.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
