Description

We are looking for a skilled Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations and ensure the accuracy of reporting processes. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting principles and leadership experience. Located in Kaukauna, Wisconsin, the position offers an opportunity to guide a dedicated team while maintaining high standards of financial integrity.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and provide leadership to the accounting team, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Specialists.

• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance and improve operational efficiency.

• Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Approve journal entries and oversee the reconciliation of accounts.

• Evaluate current accounting processes and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

• Analyze monthly financial results and deliver insights to the Director of Finance.

• Stay updated on evolving accounting standards and provide recommendations for compliance.

• Take a leading role in the annual audit by preparing required schedules and coordinating with external auditors.

• Ensure all financial activities are conducted in a safe and secure manner.

• Perform additional tasks as needed to support the finance department.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or financial management roles.

• Strong expertise in month-end close processes and general ledger management.

• Proven ability to prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.

• Experience with account reconciliation and journal entry approval.

• Familiarity with financial audits and compliance with accounting standards.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas.

• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in supervising teams.

• Knowledge of policies and procedures related to accounting operations.
