Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

* Participate in planning-level aviation assignments

* Perform civil engineering design including computer modeling, calculations, and reporting

* Prepare specifications and perform plan set production for airfield projects - Coordinate and collaborate with other aviation design professionals and disciplines as part of a cohesive design team

* Perform bid-phase and construction-phase services such as answering requests for information, preparing design clarifications, reviewing shop drawings, and submittals

* Attend site visits to perform engineering services to include construction quality, acceptance testing and construction management activities

* Attend and participate in design team and client meetings

* Attend industry-level training and collaboration events

This position will be open for at least 3 days.

* Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

* Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills

* Registered Professional Engineer

* Pavement analysis and design software experience

* Computer-Aided Drafting and Engineering (CAD/CAE) knowledge

* United States Citizenship

Ideally, you’ll also have

* A passion for aviation

* Unified Facility Criteria and Unified Facility Guide Specification experience

* Familiarity or experience with ESRI GIS software
