             Description We are looking for a skilled Payroll Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Pittsburg, Kansas. This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and detail-oriented individual to oversee payroll operations in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with payroll regulations and maintain accurate records while working with multi-state payroll systems. Responsibilities: • Process full-cycle payroll for employees across multiple states, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. • Verify and approve timesheets, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to company policies. • Utilize payroll systems such as Oracle and Workday to manage and maintain employee data. • Monitor and update timekeeping records to reflect accurate hours and leave balances. • Analyze payroll data using advanced Excel formulas to identify discrepancies and resolve issues. • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to address payroll-related queries and ensure smooth operations. • Prepare and distribute payroll reports for management review. • Stay updated on changes to payroll laws and regulations, implementing necessary adjustments. • Support audits and reporting requirements by providing accurate and timely payroll data. • Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and implement best practices. Requirements • Proven experience in payroll administration, including full-cycle and multi-state payroll. • Proficiency in payroll systems such as Oracle and Workday. • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas. • Familiarity with timekeeping systems and approved timesheet processes. • Ability to analyze payroll data and resolve discrepancies efficiently. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements. • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
