Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Midland, Texas. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in managing financial transactions and ensuring accuracy in invoice processing. This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for working in a fast-paced environment within the oil and gas field services industry.

Responsibilities:

• Process a high volume of invoices with accuracy and efficiency.

• Perform data entry tasks, including numeric and alphanumeric entries, to maintain precise financial records.

• Review and code invoices properly to ensure compliance with company policies.

• Conduct check runs and manage billing functions in a timely manner.

• Utilize Open Invoice and Ariba systems for invoice processing and record management.

• Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies in billing and invoicing.

• Monitor accounts payable transactions to ensure proper documentation and approval processes.

• Assist in maintaining accurate and organized financial records for auditing purposes.

• Support the team in additional administrative and clerical duties as needed. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role.

• Proficiency with invoice coding, processing, and high-volume data entry.

• Familiarity with financial systems such as Open Invoice and Ariba.

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in data entry and spreadsheet software.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.

• Effective organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of billing processes and procedures is a plus.
